Welcome and thank you for joining the Democratic Students of Lacey.
You are undoubtedly interested in helping in the fight to create a free and democratic society. This is a long and hard road, but it is a road in the right direction.
The country has been faced with an overwhelming evil which is known as neo-conservatism, which has been a pre-dominant problem since the Reagan administration in the 1980's. Since then, all government has tried to do is control the public, with abominable acts to "improve the securtity of the United States" such as the color-coded alert system, and the Patriot Act.
With your help, we can defeat them, by showing that we will not stand down anymore.
What I plan to do is to have meetings every once in a while (will keep members posted on calender), and decide what we can do to make a difference. Everyone in Lacey Township High School is welcome to joining the Democrat Students of Lacey; the more the better. You can get info for joining the charter by emailing me or talking to me at school.
